Additional drivers must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.

Additional driver surcharge is $7.00 per day, per Authorized Driver on the Rental Agreement, whether person actually drives the vehicle or not.

If you do not purchase the Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase the Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Select Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW is optional; your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain.

Renter pays for all fuel used and must bring the vehicle back with the same amount of fuel to avoid a charge or Select will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Renter is required to obtain a fuel receipt for all fuel purchases or a fuel charge will be assessed regardless of the fuel gauge reading.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the States of, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Violation of the restriction will result in a mileage charge of .50 cents for each mile driven during the duration of your rental.

If renter drives outside the restricted States above, renter is responsible for up to the value of the car in the event of damage. Renter is also responsible for All Repairs, Towing, Storage, and the Cost To Retrieve Vehicle.

Under no conditions may vehicles be taken into Canada or Mexico.

Renters are required to obtain and show all their refueling receipts to the rental representative as proof of geographical restriction compliance. Total mileage driven divided by average MPG of vehicle will be used to determine if all receipts are presented. Failure to provide fuel receipts for ALL miles driven will result in a .50 cent mileage charge for each mile driven during the duration of your rental.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one

Vehicle Reservation Availability Policy:

All reservations are based upon anticipated availability of the reserved vehicle. Circumstances beyond our control may prevent the reserved vehicle from being available on the pick-up date (IE: Previous renter fails to return as scheduled, service/maintenance issues, accidents). If you absolutely must have the reserved vehicle, please call our rental office to inquire about the availability of a Guaranteed Reservation (vehicle hold).

Liability Insurance:

Insurance Requirements:

Liability insurance protects you against claims for injury or damage you cause to third persons or their property. It does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. Select vehicles are covered by policies of insurance that provide coverage up to the minimums prescribed by the financial responsibility laws of the State whose laws are applied if an accident occurs. This can be as low as $10,000.

If an accident occurs, either your personal auto insurance or the Select liability insurance, or both of them, will pay the claim, depending on which State laws apply.

Select does not offer an optional supplemental liability insurance policy.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Select requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Select vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number.

Local Renter Policy

Local Renters must meet our minimum age requirements; present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name and proof of transferable liability insurance. In addition local renters are subject to a mileage cap of 100 miles per day. Excess mileage is charged at .29 cents per mile

**Reservations to request disability equipment should be placed only by calling 1-888-8RENTAL.

Hand controls are provided at no additional charge however availability of special equipment must be verified before the reservation can be confirmed. If you require special equipment to operate the vehicle, please contact us at 1-888-8RENTAL. We will process your request and send a confirmation response within 72 hours after verifying availability with the renting location.

ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED RENTERS

A traveling companion who will serve as a driver for a visually impaired renter will be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Please advise the Select representative of the companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be present at the time of the transaction
